Christmas in Eugene, and New Years Eve in Buckinghamshire

Don't forget to vote on my next adventure! Directly to the right of this sentence! (You do not need a gmail or blogspot account in order to vote.)

It snowed in Eugene, which I mostly missed out on. Portland more than made up for it though...

I trudged through the snow to meet Kitty, David, and Sylvia for breakfast at Mississippi Ave.

Joel cooked lovely chickens for Christmas Dinner.

We all opened presents and had a merry time.

Upon my return Steph and Phoebe fetched me at Heathrow, and sheltered me at their home in "Bucks" (local dialect for Buckinghamshire), where we enjoyed a lovely snacky New Years Eve.

Phoebe and I goofed around at an oddly quiet Primark in High Wycombe on New Years Day. (Can you spy Steph in the background?)

We saw a lovely church in High Wycombe and I made Phoebe join the shot for some size comparison.

Watch for more as I explore London and the UK, fully armed with a camera and my banal but sincere curiosity!

  1. I love this blog and the interactive nature of your adventures. It reminds me of the book, "The Lonely Planet Guide to Experimental Travel." Yay for you!!!
